Hub City Podcast from Bill Hicks' Grave

We recorded this podcast near the grave site of Bill Hicks. Please allow me to reiterate that we did this knowing that some folks would find it disrespectful. Fuck you if you do, enjoy the podcast if you don't.

Comedy Beast show last night in New Orleans

Last night we performed at the New Movement Theatre produced Comedy Beast show at Howlin' Wolf Den in the warehouse district in New Orleans. Everything about the show rocked even though their was a pretty light crowd. The folks that did come out were simply awesome and very ready to laugh.

Cyrus Cooper opened up the show and gave a good warm up to the crowd before introducing our friend Bill Dykes for a guest set. Bill lit it up for a few minutes and left the stage very ready for Grady Ray took the stage. Grady kept the crowd going from his Star Wars joke to his revelation that he is Creole. Here us what a local writer thought about J.C. and Matt (warning, he kinda liked us..kinda:) http://myspiltmilk.com/job-job

After the show we went on a bar crawl with Bill Dykes to what I requested, the locals bars. We had no interest in the French Quarter tourist traps. Bill did just that taking us from character filled dive to smoky shithole. As we were midway back rain began to come down heavily. We trudged back to the car, hit Half Moon for some late night grub and headed back to Travis Elkins place where we were staying. What a night NOLA!

Note big thanks to Travis (from Longville) Elkins for being a gracious and kind host!

"New Orleans is one of the most laid back places I have ever been." Ward said.

J.C. talks to the crowd at Laguna Beach Daiquiris
It's 3:49 in the morning after our show at Laguna Beach Daiquiris in Denham Springs, LA and we are stoned and drunk and very happy with how things went. Matt lead off the night and talked to two drunk hecklers for about 8 minutes to start his set. He eventually made friends with them from the stage and then J.C. came up and kept the laughs coming. Grady closed the night and the small but devoted crowd was all smiles by the end.

Thanks to David Gunn for helping us out with this show. THIS is why we enjoy doing the rowdy bar rooms sometimes! Real people, having a really good time.

Day 7 of the Tour

Had a good time last night at Zanies Comedy Club on Nashville. Thanks to Chad Riden, Gary Fletcher, James Austin Johnson and Paulina Combow for coming out to tell some jokes. We are currently half way through Alabama heading towards Denham Springs, Louisiana for a show tonight.

Last night Grady was the first on tour to admit he jerked off. J.C. & Matt have yet to find an appropriate time or place. Thank you Zanies condo for providing Grady the comfortable environment he needed to spill seed.

First Show of Tour a Success

A smallish but enthusiastic crowd gathered at JJ's Bohemia in Chattanooga last night to check out the first stop on our tour. Big thanks to Joel Ruiz for hosting and giving us a place to crash. Also thanks to BJ Hall, Ian (forgetting his last name right now) Tony Levi and Ryan Darling for opening up the show.

We have one of our longer drives of the tour today to Southern Louisiana. Tonight we perform at Interference Sports Bar with Corey Mack.
